Antigen Design and Construction

Projects can start with the customized design of your immunogen. We tailor the format and expression system according to your target structure and the intended application of the antibody. Available formats include:

Immunization Services

  • Custom Immunization Programs: Run in rabbits, chickens, and New World camelids (llamas, alpacas). Transgenic mice and rats, goats and sheep are used depending on the target and the required antibody format.
  • Human and Single-Domain Formats: Humanised rodents (LamaMice) for human and single-domain antibody formats, alongside New World camelids.
  • Ultralong CDR3 Loops: Cattle immunization gives access to antibodies with ultralong CDR3 loops.
  • Polyclonal Purification: Purification by protein A/G or antigen affinity chromatography.

Single-Domain Antibody Specialization

Single-domain antibodies (sdAb, VHH) are one of our core competences.

  • Generation: Alpacas, llamas, and transgenic rodents.
  • Applications: Research and diagnostic reagents.
  • Construct engineering: Building blocks for larger constructs, with custom functionalisation and conjugation options (luciferase, NIR-FP, HRP, IgG Fc domains).
  • Key properties: Small size and stability.

Antibodies for Bioanalytical Assays

We also develop antibodies against your biological drug product. These reagents are used to build sensitive assays for PK and ADA quantification, either as part of a discovery project or as a separate service.
