ProFit project establishing an improved platform for camelid antibody fragment (VHH) production for diagnostics and therapy. Using MRSA as a proof of concept, the project validates the "VHH immunojunction" technology in vivo and in vitro. Due to the pandemic, scope expanded to include therapeutic applications against SARS-CoV-2.

Transforming diagnostics by establishing a Point-of-Care alternative to complex clinical flow cytometry. Adapting a specific intracellular mechanism — where fluorescent camelid antibody fragments undergo proteasome degradation only when unbound — into a functional extracellular, cell-free system.

Developing two innovative pharmaceutical products delivering Botulinum Neurotoxin A as a nucleic acid instead of traditional protein form. An injectable formulation for movement disorders and a transdermal application for hyperhidrosis and wrinkles, utilizing gene therapy with targeted expression in the neuromuscular junction.
