The Potsdam headquarter covers bioanalytics, in vitro and in vivo studies in laboratory rodents and imaging technologies, together with administration and study planning. The BSL-2 laboratory supports work with GMOs. The in vivo unit performs PK, biodistribution and vaccination studies with µCT, bioluminescence and NIR-fluorescence imaging. For in vitro assays there is automated confocal microscopy for live cell imaging, flow cytometry and plate-based assays.

preclinics Italia s.r.l — Parma, Italy · Protein Development

preclinics Italia focuses on camelid antibody development, engineering and modification, including library technologies and screening approaches. Protein and antibody expression is performed in E. coli and yeast. Founded in 2022 out of a long-term collaboration with the University of Parma and located in the Tecnopolo building on the university campus.

Behring Campus Eystrup — Lower Saxony · Large Animal Facility

BCE runs immunization programs and preclinical studies in New World camelids, cattle, sheep, goats, poultry and rabbits, and produces antisera and other biological products.
